I am a Londoner born and bred … and accused of being a true romantic. I love knowing about hidden spots in London, and enjoy the leafy green spots like Richmond Park and Regent’s Park.

Reading is something I have enjoyed since I was able to read,and thought Enid Blyton was my childhood idol and have often been caught reading the back of cereal boxes when eating breakfast, just because it is something to read. My favourite authors are Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, Susan Coolidge, Louisa May Alcott, L M Montgomery and a few more authors whose books I have yet to discover.

I lurve cupcakes, mmmmmmmmmmm…especially the cream cheese icing. Hence, my username and picture after the famous Hummingbird Bakery.

I grew up on a tiny island with the beautiful sun, sand and sea. I love anything to do with water: Sea, rivers, waterfalls, baths, showers, washing up dishes, mopping, but NOT hanging out clothes to dry (I’d rather wash any amount of dishes so that I can get out of that chore!)

In the limited spare time I have after I get home from A&E (Accident and Emergency), I try to eat, breathe, sleep. I am aiming to start a cupping course and be a fully qualified cupping therapist and practice on Saya!
